Changes are happening rapidly with regards to the reopening of Illinois. We are committed to making sure you have the latest and most up to date information on these changes.

The biggest news is that Region 4 has now been moved to Tier 2 mitigations. Under Tier 2, Video gaming is restricted within the hours of 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily. Food and beverage service inside the video gaming area is suspended, while outdoor service, curbside and carryout is permitted. Masks must be worn at all times inside the video gaming area. Congregating around video gaming terminals is prohibited and there is a one person per video gaming terminal limitation. Existing social distancing, sanitizing and other mitigation protocols and measures in approved Terminal Operator Pandemic Resumption Plans remain in effect.

According to the Illinois Department of Public Health, Regions 10 and 11 are expected to move to Tier 1 tomorrow, Saturday, January 23rd.

With Region 4’s reclassification effective tomorrow, ALL Regions will have Video Gaming.

Here’s the breakdown by Region:

Phase 4: Regions 3, 5 and 6

Tier 1: Regions 1, 2, 7, 10* and 11*

Tier 2: Regions 4, 8, and 9

*Tentatively effective on January 23rd, otherwise, will remain in Tier 2.

Your commitment to public health and safety is making a difference.  The trends are moving in the right direction. Hopefully, there won’t be any more setbacks and Illinois can be fully reopened.
