The Support Main Street Illinois Coalition hosts and participates in a number of events each year reach a variety of invested audiences:
Coalition Outreach Meetings – designed to promote local awareness on issues impacting both specific municipalities and the state as a whole. Also serves as a recruitment event for Support Main Street Illinois
Annual Legislative Reception – Held once a year during the Spring Legislative Session, this is our opportunity to have targeted face-time with our elected official and to garner support for the future of the industry
Global Gaming Expo Delegate Mission – Underwritten by the Illinois Gaming Machine Manufacturers Association, legislators from throughout the state are invited to join our members in Las Vegas to learn more about the video gaming industry and spend one-on-one time with IGMOA and Support Main Street Illinois members
Illinois Licensed Beverage Association Annual Conference – Our presence at this event allows us to gain support from allied industry partners in targeting issues which may have a significant impact on their business
State and local legislative sessions and hearings – these ongoing events allow us to go right to the source to argue for legislation to support the industry, and against legislation that could hurt it.
